Dulais Wedding Dress Cleaners, strives to ensure all items entrusted into our care are treated with the uptmost care and attention, to reach you in the best possible condition.

1. Introduction 

1.1 By placing an order with us or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. 1.2 You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. 

2. Definitions 

  • “Client” means the person placing the order or receiving the services. 
  • “Business / We / Us / Our” refers to DulaisWeddingDressCleaner. 
  • “Services” means cleaning, repair, restoration, boxing, collection, delivery or related work performed by us. 
  • “Order” means a request submitted by the Client for Services. 

3. Cleaning & Service Disclaimer 

3.1 The Client consents to us cleaning the dress/items submitted by any method we deem appropriate. 3.2 Items submitted without care labels are cleaned at the client’s risk. Even items with care labels carry inherent risk. 3.3 We do not guarantee removal of all stains, marks, or damage. Delicate fabrics may bruise, colors may shift, embroidery or beading may be affected. 3.4 Pre-existing damage may worsen during processing. 3.5 Loose beads, embellishments, sequins, confetti, pins, or detachable trims should be removed by the Client prior to submission; we are not liable for damage to such items retained. 3.6 Plastic covers are not safe for long-term storage; we recommend acid-free boxes. 

4. Compensation & Liability 

4.1 In case of loss or damage directly caused by our negligence (excluding those listed above), we will compensate in accordance with industry standards (e.g. Textile Services Association guidelines). 4.2 Proof of purchase or valuation is required for any compensation claims. 4.3 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. 4.4 Our liability is capped to the value of the dress/item submitted (or the compensation limit agreed in writing). 

5. Ordering & Payment 

5.1 To place an order, the Client must provide accurate personal and dress details. 5.2 A non-refundable deposit (e.g. £75) is required at time of ordering. 

5.3 The remaining balance is payable when the dress is ready for delivery, before dispatch. 5.4 We reserve the right to refuse orders. In such cases, the deposit may be refunded at our discretion. 5.5 If the Client does not pay the remaining balance, we may retain the item until payment is made. 

6. Cancellation & Refunds 

6.1 Order cancellation is accepted within 24 hours of order placement for a full refund of deposit. 6.2 Cancellations after the 24-hour period, or once collection has begun, may not be refunded or may incur charges. 6.3 All cancellation requests must be made in writing. 

7. Collection & Delivery 

7.1 We will contact you within 2 working days after receiving your order to arrange a convenient collection time. 7.2 If we cannot reach the Client, we may cancel the order and retain the deposit as an administration fee. 7.3 After cleaning, we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time. 7.4 If the Client cannot receive the dress as agreed, we reserve the right to charge a re-arrangement or no-show fee. 7.5 If the Client cancels after collection, return shipping is the Client’s responsibility. 

8. Intellectual Property & Website Content 

8.1 All content on this website, including images, text, logos, are our property. 8.2 You may not copy or use website content without our written permission. 

9. Privacy & Data 

9.1 We collect and handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 9.2 By placing an order or using our services, you consent to how we collect, use, and store your data. 

10. Modifications 

10.1 We may update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. 10.2 Continued use of the website or services after changes indicates your acceptance of those amendments. 

11. Governing Law 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of England & Wales (or your applicable jurisdiction).

13. Courier Responsibility

13.1 Dulais Wedding Dress Cleaners is not responsible for any lost, delayed, or damaged items while they are in the possession of any third-party courier or delivery service.
13.2 If you send items to us using a courier, responsibility remains with the courier until the items are delivered to our premises. Any claims, investigations, or compensation requests must be made directly to the courier.
13.3 If we return items using a courier, responsibility transfers to the courier at the moment your items are collected from our premises. We accept no liability for loss, delay, or damage once the courier has taken possession.
13.4 We may assist by providing tracking information or dispatch confirmation, but we are not responsible for managing or resolving courier-related issues.
